Electrode Cast Iron 99% 3.2mm (1kg)

Can be used to cold-weld cast iron to steels, brass, bronze, thin and medium thick sections.

Applications include: motor blocks, machine bases, motor and gear housing, cams, bearing blocks, transmission cases and machinery parts

99 Welding Electrode is a basic graphite coated Nickel/Iron cored welding rod. This electrode produces a machinable weld without any need for pre-heating. It produces a soft stable ARC with minimal penetration and spatter, making it an excellent maintenance and repair electrode. Supercast 99 can weld a wide range of cast iron components such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, differential housings, gearboxes, pumps, etc.

Suitable for build-up, jointing, filling holes, breaks, and cracks in all types of cast iron. It has very good out-of-position welding characteristics.
